Men's Ministry

The men’s ministry at Impact Church is strategically designed to strengthen the church family and extend the love of Christ to our communities.

Families will be strengthened through relevant and practical bible instruction that cultivate a heart for our Lord. Strengthening only occurs when the mind and life are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. Regardless of your experience, Impact is committed to your transformation into the Impact of Jesus Christ. As a result of the personal metamorphosis, our communities experience the love of Christ through the presence of God’s people sharing God’s Word and love. So whether you are an infant in your knowledge of the Bible or a seasoned theologian, we are committed to helping you navigate life’s challenges and reach maturity in Jesus Christ.

THE LOCKER ROOM

Where men prepare themselves before battle.

OUR MISSION

We are committed to developing authentic relationships with Jesus Christ and other men at Impact Church of the Woodlands. Our contributions will be measured by the impact we have on our families, our Church and our community.

THE GAME PLAN

1st Quarter: Each member of The Locker Room will enter a prayer group and will commit to that group for one year. The size of the prayer group will range from 3 to 6 men. The group will be required to visit by phone or in person once a week. These groups are designed to provide support, encouragement and prayer for each member of the group.

2nd Quarter: We are obligated as men of GOD to provide a service on his behalf. Therefore, each man in The Locker Room should commit to helping the Church in other ministries. This men's ministry, "The Locker Room," will then be an instrumental force in helping this Church grow. We can be part of making disciples for Jesus Christ to impact the world for Time and Eternity.

Half Time: We will also commit to an annual Locker Room Retreat. The retreat will allow us to celebrate our friendship and reconnect with Christ. The retreat will encompass some type of outdoor or sporting event activities. The Locker Room Retreat will bring us fill circle; "...developing authentic relationships with Jesus Christ and other men at Impact Church."

3rd Quarter: On the second Saturday of every month, The Locker Room will attempt to host an enrichment class. The classes are designed to enhance the lives of the members of The Locker Room and guests. The training calendar will address Wellness & Fitness, medical concerns for men, Wealth Building, Crime Prevention, Improving our Parenting Skills, Spiritual enrichment and Leadership courses.

4th Quarter: Prayer groups may be asked to participate in community outreach programs. The programs will be another way we as men can demonstrate that we are willing and capable of caring for those who are not as financially blessed as we are. The programs may consist of Habitat for Humanity and/or Feed a Friend.
